Located on 33 beautiful acres between Maple Park and Elburn, Fox Chase Farms is a friendly, family oriented home for your horses. We believe in all day every day turnout no matter the season. Our grounds offer a heated indoor arena, large outdoor arena and multi-acre cross country field. We have 32 airy, well-ventilated fully matted stalls in two separate barns. The Main Barn is heated with a hot and cold water washrack, tack room, viewing area, club room, kitchenette and restrooms. All clients keep their tack and gear in the Main Barn. The West barn is sleeping quarters only. To match your horse's nutritional needs we have available several different grains. Our horses are fed three times daily.
Here, it does not matter what kind of saddle you use, whether or not you compete or what you choose to do with your horse. Our clients come from all riding disciplines. Some clients have retired their horses here. Others have let us use them for lessons or in the therapeutic riding program, which helps defray costs. It is our goal to have represented as many different approaches to life with horses as possible so that we may all keep learning.
We are never closed so clients have access to their horses whenever it suits their schedules. While we have a farrier who comes regularly and ongoing relationships with local veterinarians, clients are free to bring in their own support staff. Training is available in all disciplines. Outside trainers may be allowed under certain circumstances.
FCF is home to HorsePower Therapeutic Riding. This is a great source of pride to us as we watch our friends with special needs enjoy and grow from the riding experience. More information is available on the HorsePower page of this site.
Our stable boss lives on grounds and the barn manager lives just a few miles away so your horse is always under a watchful eye. In an emergency, care is just a few minutes away. We are also fortunate to be only fifteen minutes from Kendall Road Equine Hospital, a state of the art facility.
We are very proud of our horse home and welcome visitors and questions. We love to talk about our farm because to us it is uniquely suited to providing a happy, healthy life for our horses. Come join our family!
